Comments about Adorama Adorama Nikon G Lens to Canon EOS Body Adapter:
The only problem so far was to mount it. You have to attach the adapter to the Canon body first (Canon 1D Mark IV), aligning the little white arrow on the adapter with the red dot, then it clicks in, and then you attach the lens (Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8). I tried for a long time to mount the adapter first on the lens and that was just impossible. It is a simple way, but there are no instructions of any kind just a little box it is sold in. Camera does not know what aperture is being used, that has to be set by a little lever at the bottom, and there are no clicks so you have no idea if you're f/5.6 or f/11, you just know you are somewhere in between.I used the Live View to meter the exposure and to focus, otherwise it's not so friendly to use.I did just a few indoors shots to see if the exposure is proper, I plan to use it for waterfalls, arches, ruins...... with a Lee SW150 filter holder [...]I hope Canon comes up with a 14-24mm f/2.8 which is jus as good ... and soon.
