Comments about Adorama Adorama 35.5mm Plastic Snap-On Lens Cap:

A lens cap is not fancy, but when you need one ... you need one. I needed one for a vintage 1953 twin lens reflex camera that I bought. The amazing thing is that Adorama had it in stock!

Comments about Adorama Adorama 35.5mm Plastic Snap-On Lens Cap:

We purchased this lens cap as a replacement for the one which originally came with our "old" (circa 2001) Minolta digital camera and it's GREAT!

We had already replaced the Minolta lens cap with a OEM replacement lens cap which matched the supplied lens cap identically. I'll add here that the Minolta lens cap was a MORE EXPENSIVE lens cap than this generic one supplied by/purchased from Adorama AND exponentially MORE FLIMSY. THE plastic tension arms for the two retracting retention clips which hold the lens cap in place between the inner threads are horribly flimsy on the original AND OEM replacement. With Minolta's name on it, you'd think perhaps they would have improved the design over time. Nope. No chance.

So, in searching for a better quality/value replacement lens cap, I acame across this and decided to take a chance on it.

KUDOS! For a much more durable, beefier product at a better value. If there is any one thing I could knock on this product, it's that there's no hole throough which to thread the leash for the lens cap. This resulted in me going out to a local camera shop and picking up a leash with double-stick tape on the little plastic "cap" which attaches to the lens cap with the double-stick tape.
