Just purchased the Zeck Lens Cap for my Nikon 400mm 2.8 AFS II. It is a durable cap, but the finnish not too good. The inside radius was machine turned and left uncleaned of 10,000 very small slivers of plastic, if you were not looking at this , I guarantee they will end up in places you do not want. They become static charged very easily and adhere to everything. The press fit did not impress me much either. There are solid plastic studs that make contact to the inside of your lens. My lens has a very light rubber gasket around the inner edge and was being torn up from the press fit. I worked around by draping the lens cap with a lg. lens cloth then press fitting to the lens, I think that will suffice. They need to rework this otherwise nice cap slightly and modify the studs to be softer and work on the finish.
