I've read reviews on how easily this lens hood falls off. I've had no problems like that. Maybe I haven't tried to take the lens on and off quickly or often enough, but I've encountered no problems. It's expensive!

These hoods take a bit of study to fit to their Elmarit lenses. A ring must first be removed from the lenses.

The only problem I've encountered with these is that they're easy to dislodge while removing the lens from the camera body.
