I am a fastidious photographer who is very careful with my equipment. Nevertheless, this lens cap just drops off the lens and as a result I have had to purchase two replacements. Leica needs to redesign this cap so that it remains in place in most circumstances.

I have two otherwise excellent Leica lenses which came with lens hoods and these awful lens hood caps. The caps don't stay on. Even when new they don't attach well. They fall off and get lost. Then the suppliers/retailers (not just Adorama) charge [$] for a replacement. Seriously, I bet they cost 30 cents to manufacture.
