In all seriousness, this is exactly what you get new with the lens these days. So much better than the cheap no-name replacements available locally for me. Love it.

I bought this cap because Mamiya decided there's no reason you'd want to use their cap and hood at the same time. I didn't want to have to remove the hood every time I want to put the cap on, so I thought a center-pinch cap like this would do the trick. And it does! I gave it a 5-star rating although that's kind of lying: It would be even better without the Nikon logo!

I use these on Canon DSLR lenses. Stay on much better than Canon lens caps.

I get these lens caps to replace all the caps on my non-Nikon lenses. The design is much easier to grip and makes it much harder to put the cap on incorrectly, which means you're less likely to lose it.

I use this center-pinch style lens cap on a Canon lens. I like it because it's much easier to apply and remove it while I have a lens hood attached to my lens.
