Comments about Adorama Adorama 72mm Wide Angle Rubber Lens Hood:
Works well and is well made. Rubber hood provides some degree of protection from bumps when working in crowded venue. Hood does not change the way the lense cover fits.

I have been purchasing rubber lens hoods for my lens for ten years. This is the first rubber hood I have seen without front threads for mounting a lens cap or filters.
I guess you could put filters behind it, but I always install a lens cap anytime I am not actually shooting pictures; to keep off finger prints, some dirt, and to protect the front element as much as possible.
