I just finishing going through hundreds of foliage shots, moose and lake scenes I took in the last month here in Maine. The lens hood on my Canon 20 - 35 mm L series lens was obviously a perfect fit and never impeded a shot. It actually kept out annoying glare and enabled me to go full F2.8 in low light.
