It works. I can now see all of the inside read-outs. And, also, manual focusing is now possible. The draw back is that, without glasses I can't see the controls on the outside of the camera. If I'm using auto-focus, I'm still using my glasses and the original glass. The diopter conversion is still the gold standard for manual focus.
