Bought this product to copy all my old 35mm slides. It works very well but is somewhat hard to adjust to get the proper aspect ratio of picture to the cardboard frame. Once you do however, it is very fast and I can copy slides MUCH faster than any film or flat bed scanner. You will, depending on the lens used, have to find some kind of extension tube/s to use with it. I'm using a 90mm macro lens and found I needed about 86mm of extension tube length between the front of the lens and the ES-1 to obtain focus - ( with a 1.5 crop factor camera ) These are availible on [...]. I am using a 55-52mm adapter ring, the extension tubes and the ES-1. The quality of the pictures will of course depend on the slides you're copying but my results have been generally pretty good. I've copied around four thousand now in about two weeks using the ES-1 and to have done this with a film or flat bed scanner would have taken years for me. The ES-1 solves the problem of how to hold the slide steady while taking the photograph. I would highy recommend it.
