This warranty is a joke, always remember a person in sales job is to get the customer to buy the product dispite the quality of it. It might come in handy if the company did not have final say on whats a manufacters default. Over all dont waste your money.

I purchased an extended warranty 1012 from Mack Camera for my Nikon Coolpix 4600. I purchased the warranty from a salesman on the phone. He "assured" me that I could do anything to this camera and then ship it back for repair. He told me I could even take a hammer to it, and ship in the pieces to get a new one.
Buyer beware. This warranty will only cover any manufacturing defect. If you have this warranty, don't have any accidents with your camera, or they won't fix it.

I had a Konica Minolta digital camera and i bought a three year insurance contract. But when the shutter button "fell out" they informed me after having the camera for a month that it was not covered due to physical damage! Just a cop out to have to keep from repairing it. The camera was always in a foam camera bag when not in use and was never dropped!!!!
