I thoroughly enjoyed building this camera. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. It took me about two hours to complete the build. But don't let that sway you. I took my time and savored every step. Did you love building models or Lego kits when you were a kid? If so, you'll love this.

When shooting, you have no control on the exact composition and you have to do your best to guess on the exposure time so it really helps to keep a shot log. But that seems to be half the fun. It's a very zen approach to photography. In a world of instant gratification where we feel lost if the image doesn't pop up on the back screen once we release the shutter it's neat to not know exactly what the results will be until you get the film back.

I love this camera and I'm now in love with pinhole photography. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to really get down and dirty with the basics of photography.
