The belt is a bit stiff on the padded area. Thus, you need to break it up at first couple uses. Other than that, it is a great add-on if you have the Boda V3 bag.
You need this if you will do an all-day long photo shoot. Your shoulder will not hurt as much since you distribute the weight you carry on your body.

The strap is designed to fit a man's waist better than a woman's; however, the belt is useful in keeping the bag next to your side so that you can work out of it.(The over the should strap that comes with the Boda V3 bag works just as great!) The belt feels a little stiff; perhaps after use it gets more pliable. Having the belt gives you two options for carrying the bag.
