This is awesome , I wish theer was th eoption of ordering it without the top flaps which you would need in case you decide to use a flash with it.

Those flaps are pesky and if you wanna see the top part of the camera to check the settings, you need to undo the velcro and bring them flaps down and ut of the way. If you wanna see the lcd you need to bring them back up. This could be easily and simply fixed by being able to fold them onto themselves which it would make them a lot shorter and less in the way. Other than that the cover is great. The eyepiece holds the clear part of the rain cover in place and lined up with the viewfinder, without that it would be a mess, I looked around and no other brand, ie Portabrace etc, have the eyepiece like Aquatechs.

Imagine how hard it would be to focus without it!

Comments about AquaTech AquaTech SS-Zoom Sports Shield Rain Cover for many Canon and Nikon Lenses and Cameras:

Rain cover provided excellent protection during most rain and snow conditions. A little difficult a times to apply however in a hurry but that is a minor point. I would not leave home without it. It would be nice to see some sort of optically clear vinyl or plastic lens cover incorporated to fully protect and seal the lens that could be wiped clean without risk of damaging lenses or filters. This would significantly increase the lens elements protection from wind driven freezing rain, snow or sand and dust. I would suggest a separate sleeve with an optically clear plastic/glass lens that could be slipped on and off over the lens barrel as needed with elastic or velcro straps to fasten it in place.
