Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Shoulder Harness, Converts Briefcases and Shoulder Bags into Backpacks.:

I bought this harness to use with my Urban Disguise 50 camera/laptop briefcase style bag (which is excellent itself, by the way). There were two reasons for my purchase: first, there are times when I have taken my gear on a business trip and I end up having to walk some distance; the Urban Disguise can swallow a lot of gear and gets rather heavy, too heavy to simply sling over my shoulder for too long. Second, I usually ride a motorbike around town, and the backpack approach is far superior to the slung shoulder method of carrying this type of bag.

I admit to wondering as to how well this harness would work when I first opened the package; it seemed almost flimsy. Turns out its thin construction merely makes it lighter and easier to fold for stowage;it is actually quite comfortable to wear (no doubt thanks to the broad shoulder strap areas). I have a 15+ year old Tenba briefcase style bag and got the analogous Tenba harness for it back then, and find the Think Tank item to be much easier to attach to the bag as well as far more comfortable to wear.

The single thing I might do to improve the harness is add a cross-chest strap and clip, to prevent the two shoulder straps from spreading while you wear it. But the truth is that would be a minor improvement; the issue of the straps spreading apart is very minor.
