I tried fitting my Canon 50D with a 24-105L lens and the bag is about one inch too short but the other two dimensions are perfet. It would be a great fit with a slightly shorter lens like the kit 18-55mm or a prime. The case is shorter than I need so I am returning it for the next size larger DH425.

The bag is probably perfect to carry your camera on airline trips. Just throw the camera in your carry-on. Walking around the case will provide protection against bumps and quick showers of rain. The only weakness is that it does not have a full rain cover so if walking about for hours in the rain the water will eventually soak through.
