If you use the included shoulder strap the bag retains its position very well and doesn't ride down. Unfortunately if you use the shoulder strap and waist belt together it's hard to access equipment on the fly. I think there should be some small pouches inside for holding items like memory cards and other small objects. I like the versatility of the moveable dividers in the main compartment. If you have any really big/long lenses they can't stand up anywhere in the bag. It's nice that the waterproofing cover can stash out-of-the-way inside a pouch on the exterior of the bag.
