I am in a wheelchair and this bag fastens on the side perfectly. I have a number of bags that I have purchased looking for the perfect bag and this is as close as I've found. It allows me to put in my camera with a long zoom lens attached while sticking in a shorter lens. It has extra space for additional cards, batteries etc. It is one of the best designed bags I've seen as it's fairly compact yet has all the room I need to photograph grandkids games or a trip birding or shooting wildlife. If you need a great bag that will hold all the photography gear you will use or need on a day trip you can't go wrong with this bag.

This bag works for me. I wanted something that would allow me to carry a large 35mm DSLR with long lens and attached lens hood. This bag does the trick, as well as providing room for all the accessories (memory cards, lens cleaning equip, cable releases, lens caps, etc.) that I need.
The bag is very well constructed and well padded. The connections for the straps are metal and it has the built-in rain cover.
Even when carrying two of these (I attach them to a heavy-duty leather belt, similar to a tool belt), and I sling it around my neck/shoulders, I find it easier to deal with than a traditional 'camera' bag; plus, if I just want to carry one camera, one of these, used with the strap that it comes with, is less cumbersome and does not garner the attention that a larger 'camera' bag does.
So far, I've not found a mfg who makes better quality and/or more flexible bags than LowePro

Lots of padding, but not as well designed as I'd like. It won't hold an SLR and an attached lens well.
