This case is an excellent fit for Nikon D40 and D60 cameras with their 18-55 mm (with or without VR) lenses. It will _not_ hold either camera with an 18-200 mm lens, but it's a great fit with the kit lens. I strongly prefer the zipper front pocket to the one with the velcro dot on the smaller LowPro case that came with the kit we purchased. The zipper on this case keeps batteries and a polarizer much safer. I can even fit the tiny remote and the USB cord in the outer pocket if I pack it carefully.
