Great single-lens bag. I holds my Nikon D90 and 80-400 just fine. Doesn't hold the tripod mount but I rarely use the mount anyway.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Digital Holster 20, Shoulder Bag for 70 - 200 f/2.8 SLR Lens with Hood Reversed or In Position:

My Canon 5D with a 24-105 lens with hood attached will fit, but it must be extended. Without the hood, the combo fits with the rain cover inside and no extension.
It's clearly well made with quality materials. Once it's extended with the combo above inside, there's no place for the rain cover. It's also quite difficult to reach in, grab the camera and take it out quickly. In spite of this, it's good for storage and short trips with one lens attached.

This bag is designed quite differently than most others. The shape fits your camera snugly, preventing it from shifting around even during activities such as steep hiking. The pocket tucked away on the side is just large enough for a battery and some cards, but is out of the way and reduces snagging. The overall quality of the materials is excellent and I think it will last a very long time. Highly recommended.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Digital Holster 20, Shoulder Bag for 70 - 200 f/2.8 SLR Lens with Hood Reversed or In Position:

I have a couple of Think Tank bags and generally like them. This one is pretty small and the right size for a D40 without any sort of grip. If you have a battery grip on any camera it will not fit. (you'll want at least a TT40 for a D300 with grip) It will accomodate either of the kit lenses (17-55 and 55-200) attached to the camera. The one thing I do not like about these bags is where they store the rain jacket. I have to take it out immediately and unfortunately there's no where else to store it. Build quality is good though. I like the flap that protects the back of the camera. I fold the flap over and then fold my camera strap on top of it before zipping it shut.

Still figuring out if I like it for daily use. Very good for protecting the body and a single lens, even a big one. You can just yank the camera out and start shooting, then put it back and not worry about banging it up. But it should be mounted on your belt for best use and flexibility.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Digital Holster 20, Shoulder Bag for 70 - 200 f/2.8 SLR Lens with Hood Reversed or In Position:

In general I am very pleased with all the products I have from Think Tank (TT). The holster is no exception. Great build quality, great design. I have used it with my 100-400L, 70-200L, as well as shorter lenses. Works with the TT belt systems, or on its own with the shoulder strap. I am contemplating getting the harness, but will use it a bit more before I know if it is really needed. Highly recommended

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Digital Holster 20, Shoulder Bag for 70 - 200 f/2.8 SLR Lens with Hood Reversed or In Position:

I use this for casual transport of the body with one lens. It has top notch construction and the only gripe I have is the rain protection hood that is stored inside the case. Where it is located makes the camera and lens somewhat restricted and they do not easily pull from the case. I remedied this by removing the rain guard and locating it outside the case where it's now available but not intrusive like before. I had to use a little pouch I had, I then put the rain guard in it. The rain guard after removing from the inside of the case has a detachable velco tab and I used this to attach the pouch to the zipper runner.

Loving this Think Tank! It has enough room for my Canon eos40d with 135 lens, will expand if needed. Has room for an extra battery, card and cleaning paraphernalia. Its not my backpack- its my daily camera cruiser bag.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Digital Holster 20, Shoulder Bag for 70 - 200 f/2.8 SLR Lens with Hood Reversed or In Position:

This is the most thoughtfully crafted holster/camera case ever. It accommodates Nikon D300 with the 18-200 lens AND lens hood attached in its normal mode but it can be extended to accept longer zoom lenses as well. I carry it daily either on my belt or by strap and it very comfortable. I has a built-in generous rain protection hood in case of a sudden downpour and wisely designed pockets to accommodate essential accessories without adding unecessary bulk. Quality materials and workmanship, too. Asll in all, an outstanding product sensibly priced.
