The skin is very thin and does not fit snug against the camera. I do not recommend this skin.

Comments about GGI International GGI International Clear Silicone Case for the Canon PowerShot SD 790 Elph Camera with Plastic Screen Protector:

I bought the ACGSCC790C to add a layer of protection to my SD790. I plan to carry this camera with me at all times so I want some protection for the camera's finish while it is in my pocket (mostly so the LCD does not get scratched to hell and the lens cover mechanism is not forced open and damaged).

Prior to my SD790 I had a similar type of skin for an SD750. That skin was more rugged (thicker silicone; better grip; better coverage of camera), covered the lens mechanism, had a better LCD protector (this one is a grey plastic that was scratched when I got it), and did not hamper controls. The ACGSCC790C does not cover the lens mechanism (there is a hole to allow it to extend and retract unimpeded), but it does cover the shutter button. The zoom controls are then covered to such an extent that they are still usable, but the skin causes it to stick when you use it (instead of snapping back to position it slowly returns because it is rubbing about the skin--resulting in zooming further than desired and a lot of zoom correction.) The skin fits well enough, but its protection is minimal. The openings for battery door and AV/usb connection are overly large. I need to use this skin for a trip I am taking, but I am already looking for a replacement. I do not feel as comfortable as I did with the previous skin I had for my other point and shoot. I could recommend it if it sold for half the price, but for the "protection" it offers this skin is not worth more than $6 or so.

This skin stinks and I don't like it.
