This case fits like a glove around the D-Lux 4 the firm padding holds the camera snuggly once in you just know no harm is going to get to your camera a good solid shoulder strap keeps your Leica close to your body at all times The only down side is the engraved word Leica on the barrel housing don't get me wrong it's beautiful and it has to be there but there is always that seedy grub lurking around the corner who will mug you when he sees that badge So my dear's I carry my D -Lux 4 in the case in my camera bag Good sound advice would'nt you say

I gave up waiting on Panasonic to release the camera case for their Lumix LX3. Since the Leica camera is identical, I took a chance and it worked out as a perfect fit. The quality is excellent and the design is very good. It is different from the Panasonic camera case, but how long does one have to wait for accessories on a camera launched in the US 7 months ago.

Quite simply the best case I have ever bought for any camera. Well worth the price paid. "fit and finish" are what you would expect from Leica. I could smell the leather before opening the box. Don't hesitate to buy it, you will be happy you did.

Real one looks even prettier, totally match D-lux4, and together form a classy and elegant style, with very reliable protection. (D-lux 4 disappoint me though, I was expecting better image quality, if there's gonna be dp2 or 3, I'm getting it and squeezing into this case, lol)b.t.w., in the title I'm refering to its common price at[$], don't forget to match.
