This case is the perfect fit for my Nikon D90 and 18-105 lens. Though I have a more protective bag for all of my gear, I find this case perfect for just taking my camera and lens out for the day.

The D-SLR version of the neoprene SLR case just barely fits a D300 with 18-200 lens on. Inserting camera takes a second and a bit of stretching, so this isn't exactly fast for getting on and off. This is the only knock against it though. The advantage of the snug fit though is that the camera is held tightly with no excess material to deal with. Great for when you just want to throw the camera into a backpack but not worry about it getting scratched up. Highly recommend for protecting your camera when you want to go light without any additional bulky cases. Only lost a star due to the effort required to insert the camera and close the flap.

I got it to protect my camera when I want to just place it in my shoulder bag and not have an extra camera bag. It is a little awkward to put on but works perfectly for what I want it for. Very hard spongy material adds a layer of protection.

Fits perfectly my D80 with 24-120 VR lens (hood included). Protects camera when carried in backpack. If you want a stylish, lightweight protection without bulge, this is the way to go.

I bought it with my 40D kit. First I thought, it's not needed but, last weekend I had a trip by train and it was very very convenient. I didn't need to bring my bag camera. Just my normal travel bagpack and brought my 40D within this protector bag. I walked a lot with my camera and this bag. Very convenient. I didn't have a good impression firt but, now I'm sure, I did a good purchase.

I bought this for my wife, who wants to carry her dslr in her tote bag all the time.
I recommended some bulky camera case, but she did not like it because it will take much space in her bag.
We found this and have used it about a month and loved it!
Not bulky at all.
Well padded (not so protective as bulky case, but this is fine because it is a trade-off)
Looks good, too!

Considering case is intended for universal SLR use, it fits both my Canon 5D Mk II and 40D very acceptably. Can quickly insert lens first and stretch case up behind SLR body to snap on when traveling, or leave open at shoot site for fast removal. Fastener options include handy snap strap or less convenient lens loop. Padding adequate for routine travel protection & dust/dirt protection. Short model fits 50mm lens perfectly and longer snout model holds medium zoom lenses(e.g., 24-105mm f/4 L) fine. Very lightweight & crushable make for convenient storage anywhere.

I carry my Canon XT in my motorcycle tank bag fairly often and this has enough padding to keep the camera from getting scratched from anything else in the bag. It's good for a lightweight storage bag.

Roomy enough to fit a D200/D300 with "standard zoom" attached (unlike Zing pouches). Well made; neoprene a bit thicker than Zing. Unfortunately, there's a strap attached to the inside bottom of the case that you're supposed to either attach to a lens or the tripod socket -- otherwise, the strap just hangs there, and I'm concerned it could scratch the LCD screen.

My daughter needed something to carry her Pentax K100D in when she did want to carry the bag. This was a good fit, good material and does what we needed.

Otherwise a huge fan of the Op/Tech products, this was some dissapointment, since the item didn't fit the camera (40D with 24-105mm f4L) at all.
Well, the 24-105mm is on the long side for a standard lens, but still this is a VERY common lens to accommodate the Canon D-SLR's.
The description of the pouch should specifically mention the limitation in combination with the lens instead of just mentioning the camera model.

I bought this soft camera pouch because a friend of mine has one for her DSLR. I needed something more pliable and an easier way for me to access my camera on a day to day basis. My semi-hard case is just too difficult to get my camera out of in a hurry. Now I can carry my camera with me everywhere I go and not worry about banging or scratching it up. Great product.

I wanted something to protect my Sony A100 from the elements without carrying a bag. This is the very thing. I was discouraged with reviews I read regarding other "armor type" protection. This is light, durable, and cost about 1/3 of the
"armor". I will get to put it to great use in Mexico next month.
