This is a great bag period. Add in a Modo Monopod to boot and you’re getting a amazing package at a great price.
Great bag for your DSLR (or slr) and some lens w/ plenty of room for anything else you may want to carry w/ you for a day trip.
A perfectly constructed inconspicuous black backpack for paranoid MF(s) like myself.
Personally, my favorite feature is the bright yellow interior which really does make it easier to find what you looking for in the pack.

I have 2 other KATA bags and I love them all! This one I take hiking and mountain biking mostly. Very convenient location of the camera compartment, easy to remove for fast shooting. I don't use the laptop compartment for a laptop, I put my camelback in there and It is just perfect for it!

Yes, This bag is a dream come true. I travel around the country about six times a year to photograph fencing tournaments. I have already assembled a closet full of bags, each of which has shortcomings in comparison to my needs. I need to carry the following: A 15" laptop (MacBook Pro), Canon EOS 40D with 24-70 lens mounted, Canon HV20 HD video camera with wide converter lens, and miscellaneous books and magazines for the flight. No previous bag has ever enabled me to carry this variety and quantity of equipment so something usually gets left at home.
The Kata DR-467 has plenty of space for all of my required items and more. Plus, it has all sorts of additional features that add functionality to the bag. All interiors are yellow to facilitate locating the odd memory card that has gone astray. In addition to the two main bag sections it has four variously sized zippered smaller pockets to help me organize my smaller items. It has cinching straps to help fasten the load. Used in combination with one of the small pockets they provide a handy place to attach the free Manfrotto monopod that comes as part of this bundle.
The monopod is a bit on the light side, dare I say flimsy, but, after carrying around a hefty Manfrotto monopod for years I'm anxious to do whatever I can to lighten the load. In the final analysis, I just hope that my back can carry as much as can this phenomenal backpack.
Fully loaded, the balance of this pack is also great. The laptop is carried against my back and the camera equipment is carried in the lowest compartment so the center of gravity is optimally placed.
P.S. This bag can carry so much because it is bigger than it appears in the photos. For me it is just perfect.
