I use the pack for all around transportation of gear whether on the city streets or in the back country. Strong, light weight, comfortable. The zippers are hard to unzip but thats easy to fix with a little silicone spray.

The bag has ample room for a SLR, 2-3 lenses, a flash, and purhaps some od bits and ends. It also has to exterrior zip pockets and one interrior zip pocket for storing memory cards, batteries, filters, adapters, and other accessories. You can also attach a tripod and other equipment to the sides. This bag is comfortable, excellant for transporting gear, and it has ample deviders for the lenses and big items. But it falls short by lacking good organization for your little items.
It is impossible to access your gear when on the go, you have to stop, take it off, and get what you want. This bag is made in such a way that you can purchase more kata piece, and attach it to this bag for more storage. It does come with a rain cover, but it something you have to clip to the bag, or take up valuable space. It should of had a pocket for it.

The zippers can be hard to completely close. The bag offers very good protection, includes a rain cover and has good space for a mid-size. And like any backpack, you have to take it off to access equipment.

Bag got launched out of pickup bed at 40mph
when the tailgate flopped open. No harm no foul.
Brushed off the dust/dirt everything as good as new. Great pack, check out the H-14 for a nice
"grab" bag.

Have had a number of camera bags,all of which were quite good in their own way.For me this bag is just about the perfect fit.Solid construction,unbeatable protection,and a pleasure to wear while out in the field.It is large enough to carry the equipment I want to bring along,and I am quite secure in the protection it affords my equipment.For me it is all I would want in a camera bag...and then some

great way tho haul equipment around in the field. I do a lot of field work in the mountains.
