Very functional with typical interior adjustable dividers. Its bottom rubber boot allows setting the pack down w/o worrying about wet ground, dirt, etc. This is the main reason I bought this model.
A minor complaint is that the main compartment flap only opens about three quarters of the way but it's not a deal breaker for me.
