Comments about Tamrac Tamrac CyberPack 8 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 17" Laptops, Black:
I highly recommend this backpack. It is very durable and well built, very customizable and I have faith that it will last a long time.
I can easily tote my D300 with grip, 3 speedlights, and 5-7 lenses.
A great bag for everyday use, storage, and hiking.

I use this to store and transport all my photo gear plus a laptop when we travel. It has plenty of room for Video, DSLR, Additional Lenses Assorted cables, SDHC cards, Misc gear and a Laptop. It's a little heavy when fully loaded ,but it's all in one place.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac CyberPack 8 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 17" Laptops, Black:
First off, this bag is huge. Not really the bag for a walk-around but it holds everything. Seems like a well constructed bag and I can't imagine you'd need anything other than this unless you're checking your gear on flights or have a commercial shoot level of gear. I'd appreciate a more integrated monopod/tripod holder on the bag but I would still recommend it without question.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac CyberPack 8 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 17" Laptops, Black:
Build quality is excellent. Holds 2 bodies, 4 lenses, 3 flashes, and 2 smaller, non DSLR cameras with ease. It also has tons of smaller compartments for stashing all of your accessories. Cables, chargers, batteries, memory, pocket wizards, etc.
The laptop compartment holds my 15.4" laptop with ease. For trips out in the back country, it also doubles as a great compartment to hold a hydration bladder.
The tripod attachment system holds my Induro A213 tripod rock solid. This is neither a small nor lightweight tripod. The only potential weak point I see with this bag is I fear the plastic clips on the tripod hold-down straps may break on me one day. It would be nice if they were made out of metal and/or offset so they are next to the bag as opposed to pressing against the tripod. It looks like a good whack could crack them.
This is not a small backpack by any means and weighs a ton fully loaded down with gear. People of smaller stature or strength may struggle with this bag but for me, this is the best way to carry a goodly amount of gear out to rugged locations. The shoulder straps are well made and thickly padded and do a good job of balancing the weight of the bag. Combined with the sternum and stomach straps, this bag is not shifting around at all on a long hike.
This is an excellent bag that can haul around a ton of gear in relative comfort.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac CyberPack 8 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 17" Laptops, Black:
After purchasing two Canon prime lenses, I looked around at a backpack to protect my investment.
My inventory consists now of three prime lenses, Canon 16-35, 24-70, and 70-200, a 5D body with the BG-E4 battery grip the Canon 580EX flash a Gary Fong Lightsphere, the Photovision target, an HP Laptop, and various other items.
I chose the Tamrac backpack for a few reasons:
1. I wanted a liberally padded case I could store and transport ALL my gear.
2. I wanted to be able to compartmentalize at will and have ingenious options for storage ( I store my 70-200 on the body, but also off in the same compartment used for other smaller lenses by adding a divider on top)
3. I needed storage for my laptop.
4. I wanted to be able to carry it comfortable(has a padded back support) as a back pack and use both hands.
5. I hate companies that change too much for their name(Kata, Lowepro)
It is very heavy when loaded, (mostly because of the lenses) so you cannot use it for a stroll around town, but it offers good protection.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac CyberPack 8 Photo / Computer Backpack, for 17" Laptops, Black:
I searched high & low for a large bag that would hold several cameras, at least 6 lenses, a few flashes and all the other accessories & laptop I had. This bag fit the bill without breaking the bank! It's well padded, has plenty of accessory compartments, holds plenty of extra AA batteries with Tamracs Red flag system, cleaning supplies, memory cards etc. Also has a great Tri-Pod securing system, easy access to my equipment & light weight even when it's PACKED with my equipment. I took it on a wild life assignment and wore it for 6 hours without any problems. The body strap system holds it securely against your torso and makes for a very comfortable hike for hours on end. If your looking for such a gear bag, look no further then this one, it's a WINNER!
My Bag Packed!
