Comments about Tamrac Tamrac 5575 Expedition 5, Medium Size, Professional Photographic Backpack, Black:

I looked for a while for a pack that wasn't too big that was deep enough that I could put my D-80 body in it with the battery grip and Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 lense attached. This pack fit the bill. Added features are the water resistant zipper covers and the large number of small pouches on the front of the pack. I agree with the reviewer that said that the tripod pouch is probably not as effective as it could be but it works great with my monopod as long as you don't mind if it sticks up above your head.

Used this for my vacation trip
had 1 spare lens, compact camera, compact camcoder, filters and all ther charges - all fits
convinient access to the batteries and memory pockets

it is a little bit heavy but I feel that my equipment is protecte though medium size tripod barely fits holder.

Overall - very satisfied

The way this fits is a problem for me. The front straps as so padded that it is restrictive and I am afraid it will cause some sores where it rubs against my body.

Travelled to Thailand for 3 weeks. This bag took it all; rain, heat, bumps. Easy to carry and comfortable. Holds lots of gear. Great for airport security check-in and fits into most airline overhead bins. This bag was perfect for the trip! I would recommend this implicitly!

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac 5575 Expedition 5, Medium Size, Professional Photographic Backpack, Black:

i was very happy with the construction of the backpack, it's got great compartments, zippers, puches, etc. you can tell that a lot of thought went into it. however, since it does hold a lot of eqipment, it is quite bulky. it stickes way out on my back, i feel i will knock things over with it. also, it is heavy even without equipment (due to it's good construction). one plus is it comes with a zipper raincover, and in florida, that is very useful.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac 5575 Expedition 5, Medium Size, Professional Photographic Backpack, Black:

Well made and nicely cushioned. Easy to modify interior spaces with Velcro dividers. Has a few too much dangly stuff… zipper pulls, straps and buckles that get in the way of constant use. The advertised “Tripod Foot Pouch” is virtually useless as advertised unless you use a very small, low end tripod. My medium Bogen Manfrotto completely out sizes that feature. It’s a good battery storage pouch though. The memory card system is a great idea with it’s red flags to identify full cards, however there are too few of them for my use. 2 more sewn to the outside of the inner pockets would be nice.

Over all a pretty good value for the price.

I had bought a cheaper backpack a year ago. On 1 week long trip in Yellowstone it failed and began falling apart. I researched and for the money I could not find a better made, constructed and designed photo pak for my needs. I am a wildlife painter and have had to become a semi-pro photographer to help my art. Love this pak, have had it 6 months, so far, so great!!

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac 5575 Expedition 5, Medium Size, Professional Photographic Backpack, Black:

Great bag for travel. Works very well as a carry-on bag, and protects your equipment nicely. I generally keep one camera body, three lenses, cleaning supplies, several filter sets, a reflector, and flash in the bag, and there's plenty of room. the outer pouches work well for batteries, memory, etc., and there's enough room to stuff a windbreaker and some snacks in the outer zippered slot.

This backpack is perfect for me. I am able to fit my camera body with either of my two lenses attatched and also fit at least two other lenses on the sides. Plenty of room for filters wires or anything else like that in pockets. Very well padded, durable and protecting. Comfortable on your back as well.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac 5575 Expedition 5, Medium Size, Professional Photographic Backpack, Black:

The backpack is durable, and has plenty of room for my D200, a few lenses, filter pack, and flash units. The compartments are well organized as well. Much better than a previous lowenpro backpack that I had.
