Haven't had a chance to try it extensively yet, but it looks like it should do the job. I've owned and used three other Tamrac camera backpacks and all seemed to be well made and sturdy. This one looks to be the same quality.

Love the construction. Have owned the Tamrac 614 since 1988 and it still looks new.

The pack is very well designed and constructed.
There is enough organized room to carry two cameras and much of their required components, and then some ...including a tripod!
The bag can be carried as luggage or as a comfortable backpack, which is good, because...
...Folks need to remember one fundamental fact.
The more that you stow in there, the more weight you'll need to lug around. And, this pack has a tendency to encourage packing it all, which is no fault of its own!
I personally think that it's a really terrific buy!

The bag preformed exactly as advertised. I use it when I go hiking.
