Comments about Tenba Tenba Shootout Backpack, Medium, in Black/Olive:

Got this pack so I could take it snowboarding, and it worked GREAT! It was snowing a lot the first day, and the pack got pretty wet, but everything inside stayed dry (good thing bc I don't have a 1-series body).

It was very comfortable to travel with. Fits easily under seats in airplanes, comfortable adjustments when carrying it, and it doesn't scream "steal me" either, since I got the Olive/Black color combo.

There are TONS of straps. You will actually have to read the manual to figure out what all the straps are for. They are all useful, but they're not all obvious. After reading the manual I sat back and thought "wow, this is a serious pack." Thankfully, it's well thought-out.

As mentioned by the other reviewer, there are limited pockets for accessories. There are two convenient pockets on the side, a semi-useful small pocket on the back, and two small inside pockets/sleeves. I was able to take all my primary gear, a second battery, battery charger, lens pen, SD card reader, and some other small stuff, so I guess it's enough storage space.

The two side pockets are interesting. They actually provide access into the main compartment. Unfortunately they are not large enough to easily pull out my XSi (no way would you ever get any body out if it has a vertical grip). I haven't found myself using them much.

All said, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I got it for a good price (a few bills below MSRP) from my local camera shop, and I am comfident that it will last me for many more years.

Comments about Tenba Tenba Shootout Backpack, Medium, in Black/Olive:

This backpack exceeded my expectation for storing my lens and camera. The backpack is very protective of the equipment and comfortable to use. The main drawback is the lack of small functional storage compartments for such items as batteries and memory cards.
