Overall, I've loved this pack! It definitely provides more than enough space for my current gear (camera body, 3 lenses, flash, large flash diffuser, remote trigger, tripod, filters), and will provide me some room to grow. My favorite feature is the two side pockets that allow you to access the internal chamber ... great for trading between a few lenses. In practice though, because the material is a little stiff and the zipper is a little sluggish (due to the weather sealing), I typically use a lens pouch to carry my extra lens while I am trying to grab the other one from the side pocket.
Also, frankly, the bag is a little thicker than I had expected. This is not necessarily bad (and in fact allows me to stack many lenses vertically), but it does make the bag a little heavier and bulkier than I was expecting. This is certainly larger than a "typical" school-type backpack (the Small Shootout is about this size), and so is a little more cumbersome to carry around. But if you can use the space, then by all means do. This is a great pack!
