Lightweight yet sturdy support for transporting or carrying a 500mm. Can add a Think Tank body pouch on the outside but this arrangement is cumbersome and not very secure in crowds.

Graet for my 400mm F2.8. can fit a few smaller lens in to but gets tight. For the price i think a waist belt should be included not an extra to buy.

The ThinkTank Glass Taxi is a high quality camera bag. It is among the most compact and lighter weight bags that can transport larger telephoto lenses. It is one of the few that can carry a full-sized DSLR. My Nikon camera fits in it attached with a Sigma 100-300 f4, its large lens hood, and 1.4x teleconverter. If I remove the large lens hood, I can store it, a battery charger, and my 18-105mm lens in separate compartments that I created using a few of the many Velcro attachable dividers that are included. Most other backpacks are big and bulky and seem better suited for outback expeditions, but the Glass Taxi is so streamline that it can be readily used in urban areas. The waist band (i.e. belt) can be easily attached and removed, which is a huge plus (with other backpacks people will cut this part off). It is easy to convert from backpack to shoulder bag with the high quality shoulder strap that is included. A raincover and straps for attaching a monopod and tripod are also included. The Glass Taxi is sturdy and well padded enough to protect your equipment throughout time. The zippers and fabric are of high quality and will last. There is only one large-sized mesh-style pocket inside the bag in which to store smaller accessories such as memory cards, filters, etc. In my opinion, this is the only drawback of the bag and a minor one if that. There are two smaller outside side pockets (one on each side of the bag) that can be used to store smaller accessories. The material and build of the bag are so superior that the people of ThinkTank Photo have more than earned a 5 star rating for this product. I highly recommend it.
