Comments about Vanguard Vanguard Up-Rise 34 Sling Bag, Backpack Holds 1 DSLR Camera with Attached Lens, 2 Extra Lenses, Flash and Accessories:

I bought this bag for the purpose of using it as an everyday walk-around camera bag, and for such purpose, it's perfect for me.

It's well built, and provides ample protection for its contents (a raincoat is even included). For casual walk-arounds, it provides just the right amount of space for minimum gear (This could be a negative for those who tend to bring many stuff even during a casual day.). By minimum gear, I mean the camera with attached lens, one additional lens (or 2), external flash, and accesories like memory cards and extra battery.
Quick access to the camera is easy via the side access when you 'sling' the bag to your front. Otherwise, normal access is at the back, which provides additional security to your gear while walking in the streets.

What it is not for:
1. It's not the bag to use when you need to bring a lot of gear.
2. It's not the bag to use if you want quick access to everything inside the bag while walking. Quick access is only to the camera itself.

I couldn't fit my Canon 50D through the side openning, which basically renders this bag useless unless you have a very small SLR. But otherwise the bag is well made and well thought out.
