Bought this for a small travel bag to use instead of a backpack. Used it to carry my DSLR and an extra lens, a digital Elph, plus memory cards, the slinger filter pouch "A", and spare batteries. Still had room for tour book, change purse, compact umbrella and other odds and ends needed. Since the bag can swing around front it is was easier to access the camera quickly than with my backpack, while still providing protection for the equipment. Wish I had bought this sooner.

The only warning I offer is that it just fit my 70-300 mm USM/IS lens so if you have something larger or if you want to use the battery grip on the camera you might want to get the larger size bag.
