I tend to use the boda with the belt attachment. It's definitely sufficient to carry an array of lenses (70-200, 85mm, 16-35 + 50mm 1.4 in the outside pocket, as well as a 580ex2 in the other outside pocket). But that makes it a little heavy for a full day of shooting. It's perfect for my needs though (weddings)

Have only use the bag a few times and am not totally comfortable with it yet. It is very well made, and may end up being a favorite. I can't get my 14-24mm,f2.8, my 24-70mm f2.8, and my 70-200mm f2.8 in it all at the same time. This is a problem when I'm shooting my fisheye.

Something to be aware of: Boda presents the bag as essentially waterproof-weather resistant at the least. This is true only for the lens compartment. The front pocket that is large and convenient is open at both sides at the top.

I am a Wedding & Portrait Photographer in Florida and do lots of beach weddings, this bag is great can now carry my extra lenses and flash on my hip or on my shoulder and don't have to worry about the weather or the bag walking off .

This bag is comfortable and not too heavy when you have a number of lens in it. The belt attachment (optional) is good also.

I bought this Boda V3 bag to transport and store my lenses and other accessories when I am doing a shooting in a location. I do mostly an outdoor portrait session and a wedding photography.
This bag is just awesome, from its design and its comfort and protection. It has plenty room to store your lenses and flashes + media cards. The best part is you can put your bottle of water in it too on the side.

The big pad on the shoulder strap is great modification from the previous version. It will not hurt your shoulder. Plus the pivoting on the side keep the shoulder strap in place at all time.

I suggest you to buy the waist belt if you do carry the bag for awhile. It is to distribute the weight that you will have during your shooting.

You will not regret to own this bag!

The lens bag is a good idea, but it is a GENIUS idea for wedding photographers! With this bag you can carry what you need with you at all times, even change lenses without taking your eyes off your subject.

I tested the first version of BODA BAG and the product didn't call me much attention once a black DOMKE, beyond the lenses could carry extra bodies and flashes also.
However, the new version is PERFECT ... ok, almost, once the frontal big pocket (the apple of the eyes of the creator/designer still protecting partially against the weather but not for poring rain - the cover of the pocket doesn't close the whole hole - like the others parts of this bag that can hold a flood, but it's far to not be a GREAT increasing in quality of the product's finishing.
Space for ALL BRANDS of 70-200mm (with the hood) what on the previous version you couldn't have.
The pockets for the CF cards are amazing - KIND of difficult to put in an take out but once you get use, becomes eaaaasy, and who wants to loose the card because the pocket is loose?
A GREAT idea to put a key holder but not so smart the cloth to clean the lens ... once you can not exchange or take out to clean it.
Kind of bulky, but nobody wants lenses kicking in your body as you walk or have a girly light messenger that won't protect your investments - and by the way, the groom, bride and guests (besides uncles Bob) have to dress up beautifully and don't have to carry extra weight, but the photographer has ...
But none of my "but"s are something that can decrease to a 4*s the quality and practicality of this amazing product.

I use this bag to protect and transport large lenses and sundry supplies when I don't want to carry a large camera bag. It has a large two zippedred main pocket separated into segments by a velcro attached divider. Outside pockets on the side are, for the most part, useful with the exception of the lower one with the draw string. It is positioned so close to the one above that there is room to insert only smller items. Out side pockets in the front are less useful. The large media flap pocket has room for 8 media cards if you are clever enough to get your media into one of these strangely designed pockets. Behind the zippered, incredibly stiff, media pocket is a 10" deep, 8" wide 2" high pocket with a small filter storage component and a lens wip-on-a-string at the very bottom. Other than a few filters, the pocket seems useful only for carring a user manual or notebook. In the front bottom there is a small flap zippered pock which is useful and accessable. Over all the protection afforded by the bag is good. The strap shoulder pad is large and the hip hugging flaps to whitch the strap attaches are comfortable. There are no swivels in the strap and it tends to twist awkwardly. The bag has several "D" rings and a useful handle at the rear of the top.
My major complaint (and it's a biggie) is that there is no access to the main pocket other than from the top. If you stack several lenses in each of the two main pocket segments (they are 13" deep) you must provide your own padding between lenses, and if you want the one on the bottom you must empty the segment! When viewing this bag I mistook the shallow putside pocket as a front access to the main pockets - wrong!

We began using the Boda upon its first release to the general public around 2 years ago and have slowly watched this amazing product build steam. The V3 can not be topped in quality of the stitching or build and in our opinion the best quick access lens carrying system for active photographers on the market. I can not imagine today trying to access the number of lenses we now can grab without an assistant anytime we need them without the Boda. It really revolutionized how we carry all our gear and fits the need perfectly. I can not think of any cons for the V3 thus far and will update if anything comes up, but we can't wait for the 2010 season with these guys.

I have used this bag for a wedding in early Feb 2010. It was great to be able to access lenses without too much a hassle. Only one quip is how do I get the optional waist strap from anywhere.
