I purchased this bag as a replacement. My other bag (not Domke) uses plastic snap buckles that broke. This Domke F-1XB bag uses steel snaps that look like they should last for a long time. I like the large size of the bag. I do not like to pack equipment too tight and this bag allows me to keep a Canon 24-70L lens mounted. Overall the construction and quality is very good and the bag is versatile enough for many different situations.
