Just enough room for my Pentax K10D w/ 3 primes. No extra crazy padding. Nice for every day use.
Just the same as the Domke F-5XB with a cheaper price.

it was on sale for [$]- can't go wrong! it's a small bag that O usually keep a spare flash unit, my Quantum turbo2x2 and some pocket wizards in. I have also used it to hold a lens and batteries when I'm really packing light. If I had to complain about something - There's a small pocket in the front which could have been made better by adding velcro or a zipper. Although, if you just close the large flap over the whole bag that does have velcro, it should be ok. I would rather keep the bag opened though - for quick access. Great for the $.

Due to MS, I do not have fine motor control or sensory feeling in my hands and thought with the Velcro fastener it would be easier to use. Read review that a D50 would fit nicely in the case. It does, but there is little room left over to add an SB-600 or accessories.

It might fit a small dslr, but definitely NOT a large digital with an extra lens or even a flash. Nicely padded---good for a point & shoot with accessories.

Comments about Domke Domke / Tamron Shoulder Camera Bag with Gripper Shoulder Strap, Black Canvas, Similar to Domke F-5XB:

This is a tough little bag...emphasis on little. It barely fits my 20D with attached Tamron 17-50mm and a Canon 430EX flash, I can squeeze a spare battery in and some extra CF cards but there's no real designated place for them. However, if you need something small and compact to throw over your shoulder when you are traveling light then this is a great bag. I love the velcro flap, when I'm shooting I'll sling the bag over my shoulder and the velcro keeps the things left in my bag safe and secure but still right within reach. Strap is wide enough that it doesn't dig into your shoulder when carrying it for long periods. Overall the bag feels very sturdy, well made, and padded well enough for a smaller bag.

I have a lot of equipment and own several Domke bages. This is the one that I take everywhere. It's compact and easily holds a rangefinder and enough film to shoot all day. A great bag for any time you just want to carry the basics.

Comments about Domke Domke / Tamron Shoulder Camera Bag with Gripper Shoulder Strap, Black Canvas, Similar to Domke F-5XB:

This bag looks small, but I carry in it EOS 10D with 28/1.8 attached, EF 85/1.8 plus Zenitar 16 and 380EX speedlite. And it is quite comfortable. Very good access to the gear. Tamro-Domke logo can be easily removed, if you want it to be "stealth". Opposed to the F-5 it has only one additional pocket, but it may be better than three small ones.

Comments about Domke Domke / Tamron Shoulder Camera Bag with Gripper Shoulder Strap, Black Canvas, Similar to Domke F-5XB:

Buyers be aware, 'cauz this is NOT a Domke F-5XB. I own one Domke F-5XB, but strangely couldn't find it, and I needed one, so I ordered this one [...]. I thought that it is exactly the same as F-5XB. I was wrong. This one does NOT have seven compartments altogether. The front part of this bag has only ONE pocket instead of four small pockets on the REAL F-5XB. Besides, there is only ONE zipper pull tab/head here while the Domke F-5XB has two, that you can open it in either direction. The swivel clips are NOT the same. The ones on the REAL F-5XB feel more heavy duty. Even the Gripper shoulder strap is not exactly the same. Don't get me wrong, this is still a good bag. I was just not happy with the description here; it made me think that it is exactly the same, except for the label, as Domke F-5XB.

I bought this case to hold by D-SLR (D50) and two lenses at the bottom of the main compartment of my favor laptop backpack (Swissgear). This allows me easily to take the camera on trips and consolidate two bags into one. It is very compact for what it can carry.
