I bought this to use as daily bag - for both my camera and daily possessions as I often found myself wrapping up my camera in a sweater and placing it in my normal women's purse! This does the combination job really well. Though as other reviews have mentioned, the inner purse that comes with the bags is not leather all over, but the cream fabric with leather corners, as a result it does get grubby fast if used outside of the main bag.
I carry in it: Nikon D90, zoom and 50mm lenses, gorilla pod, battery charger then also it can take my purse, sunglasses, check book, passports, aeroplane tickets and letter paperwork folded in half lengthways, and other personal items such as nail file, tablets, tissues etc.
I used it on a recent trip and the bag tucks very neatly in the foot-well of planes, still leaving space for your feet to go under too.
The bag has survived a light shower well, so all in all I am very happy with this purchase.

This bag looks great and holds my Olympus E510 with lens attached; two other lenses, charger & room for some personal items. I do wish the outside end pockets were deeper. The shoulder strap is very stiff, bulky. The personal item pouch is cloth, not leather as pictured.
That said--I love the bag! I don't need a handbag. It doesn't scream "camera bag."
It is likely a little too heavy to carry all day if walking or hiking but great for short trips, outings.

I love this bag! It's super chic (I've been complimented on my "fantastic purse" many times when wearing it) and a great way to haul around all of my gear without looking like I'm carrying camera equipment.
My only complaint is that I can't make my boyfriend carry my camera stuff for me anymore!

I constantly see things I'd like to photograph and don't have my camera with me. I wanted to use this as a daily camera bag/purse combo. The bag holds more than expected: 40D with 17-55mm F/2.8, 28-135mm IS USM, Tamron 70-300mm, filters, memory cards, Fossil wallet/shoulder purse combo, toiletry bag contains ITouch and ear buds, plus pockets for filters, cleaning tissue, the list goes on. The good news is that the Fossil bag fits in with camera and lenses but can also easily be lifted out if I don't want to take the camera.
