Bought this bag to start out with my Canon Digital Rebel XTi and kit lens. Now it fits the camera with a Canon 28-135mm IS USM lens attached (with hood reversed) and the kit lens and a 50mm f1.8 stacked on the side. In the other section in the main compartment I keep my battery charger, extra batteries, cords, and lens caps. In the front pocket I keep spare CF cards, a filter case, a very small pad of paper and a pen. This is probably the tightest fit you'll get in the bag.
It's got a comfortable enough strap if you are mainly using it to carry your stuff to and from somewhere - I wouldn't want to keep it on my shoulder for a whole day. The bag is small enough though where it wouldn't be too much of a problem to carry it for a smaller length of time, though.
The weather proof cover is a nice addition, and the bag itself does a fairly good job of repelling light rain (though I would not test its ability to anything more than a drizzle).
I am upgrading from this merely for the sake of size, but would definitely suggest it to anyone who is looking for a smaller shoulder bag for a smaller DSLR with a lens attached and no more than two other smaller lenses. I'll definitely be using this in the future; it just won't be my carry-all bag.

Great protection for my camera but somewhat bulky to carry around.I have since gone to a Lowepro slingbag which works alot better for me.

Very compact...VERY. If you use only one lense then this is the bag for you. My D70s with 18-200VR has to get squeezed in between the 50mm and the flash. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the Nova 3 just because I carry lots of crap.
Besides the size limitation, it is extremely well padded and protects gear extremely well. Everything is easy to access with little fuss. Pockets are plenty but do not like to get stuffed full. The external mesh pockets are useless, whatever is in them usually falls out. Rain poncho works like a charm. For the active user, the extra belt strap keeps the bag firmly attached.
