Comments about Vanguard Vanguard MCC12 Aluminum Memory Card Case for 8 Compact Flash Cards:
This is a bad idea for your cards, when you open it in a hurry the cards fly out. The latch nothing more than a bent tab got weak after a week.
Careful bending with pliers restored it and then it got weak again, I used two velcro tabs and a middle piece of velcro to keep it closed.
Same thing happened with the Compact flash case. Basically junk and I opened the package so I can't return them. Vanguards products aren't as good as the promotional products I got at trade shows.
A new 2000 dollar lens got bought else where because of this, I almost lost a job on one of the SD's when they flew open...,

The aluminum is so soft the latch can close on the outside or inside of the case. Neither gives positive lock. One can try adjusting the hinge alignment but the case is so soft it won't stay.
