I bought this vest to try and replace my 10 year old Banana Republic vest, which is no longer produced. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
From the top, the epaulettes are worthless. I couldn't get a single finger under the tabs, so unless you are using a pencil thin shoulder strap, forget about it.
Overall, they got all of the same styling as the original, but for whatever reason they decided to cut corners and make significantly less useful.
The vertical zipper pocket on the right breast is so narrow you cannot get your hand in it. The side slash pockets are shallow. The "lens pockets don't have the elastic "blousing", which means that only a very thin lens would fit.
