I just ruined an 18-200 VR Valued @ $800 because the fastener on my strap came loose, because this mount doesn't pivot at all on the camera body. The pressure and angle of my connector on the stationary mount caused it to come loose. I've had this happen multiple times, unfortunately this time I didn't have my hand on the camera body.
