Comments about Bogen Imaging Bogen - Manfrotto 401N Quick Action Tripod Carry Strap.:
I got this strap for my 055XB tripod with a 486RC2 head. It is well-made from the first glimpse. But I spent some time to figure out how to attach it to my tripod leg. The document wasn't helping a lot. When I get it on the tripod, everything worked. It's comfortable. The rubber dots on the padding held it in place on your shoulder. I walked around our campus one afternoon for over an hour to get some shots, and felt way better than last time when I was hiking on Mount Mitchell, holding the tripod in my hand. It took a little bit longer to set the tripod up compared to holding the tripod in hand, but hey, if you stumble on something, you won't crash your tripod against the ground!
The only complaint I have so far is that my tripod/head combination is too long and the strap doesn't hold it high enough. I sometimes hit my camera on the tripod head while I am carrying the tripod on my back.

This product was easy to use. It allows me to carry my tripod "on my back" while I am hiking to get that "perfect" shot. I don't have to take if off the tripod to use it which is wonderful. Well constructed and comfortable. Worth the cost.
