Attachment system uses webbing that slips through bino loops - no need to use metal split rings. The system uses plastic snap buckles rather than hook clips - much less bulky than hook clip style. Buckles allow easy removal from Harness. Lets you swap to a regular OP/Tech neck strap by un-clipping/re-clipping 2 buckles.

This is great
no more swinging camera .....stays put when riding motorcycle, keeps camera from banging the gas tank , and removes quickly , but you really don't have to as the camera slides up and down the harness for picture taking .
The design also gets the weight of camera off your neck and onto your shoulders .
and as a plus the harness will just as easily double as a conventional strap for those times when you just want to sling it over your shoulder or neck .
But it works best as intended and keeps the camera from swinging side to side when walking or hiking , even jogging .
Is incredibly awesome if you ride a motorcycle as it is ready for use whenever .

A bit tricky to put on the first few times, but does an excellent job of securing the camera and taking it's weight off of the neck.

A great way to carry your camera with the lens attached. Even long lenses are balanced and put no pressure on your neck. Used in conjunction with the company's system of straps and connectors, your camera is easily changed from one method of carrying to another. Just unsnap and snap into another strap.
At the beginning, you may have trouble slipping into the harness. But once it is on, you will be amazed how comfortable and convenient it is.

The harness is well built for a small camera. I got it for the D5 and it did not fit right with that amount of weight on it.

Bought this for my wife, an avid birdwatcher who gets very tired shoulders and neck from carrying around her 22 oz binoculars (she's not as young as she used to be). First time she used them was an 1.5 hour birding walk. She was stunned at how comfortable the harness was and how surprisingly good her neck felt. She said she could have gone on much longer but her legs were giving out. I think I better get one for my 33 oz binocs or my Canon S5 IS. Very pleased.

I go on trips and hikes with my family and I always bring along my Nikon D80. When I would carry it around my neck for any length of time it would get uncomfortably heavy and if I tried to carry it on my shoulders it would flip or slide off. I had been trying to find a nice simple harness and ended up finding this one! I tried it out all day today and at times I forgot I had it on! I am keeping this on my camera and will use it all the time. If you don't want to wear it as a harness you can always use it as a strap, too. I love it and may order another one for my husband to use with his binoculars.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Bino/Cam Harness, Non-Elastic Version for Cameras & Binoculars - Black:
Excellent for cameras or binoculars. The elastic one is not as good, for me, as the camera keeps jumping around. I bought two or three and keep them attached to the items.

I just came back from 10 days at Disney World where wearing my Nikon D40 around my neck was very hot and uncomfortable. The Disney photo staff all were wearing camera harnesses so I asked them about the harnesses and found out how comfortable they are. I came home and immediately ordered one and am I thrilled that I did! What a neck-saver! It is much more comfortable wearing the camera like a backpack (on the front)instead of all the weight hanging from my neck. Best [$] ever spent!

Now this is a nice product! I use it to carry my Canon 40D+Grip and my EOS-1n+Grip when I go hiking. I also have the elastic version of this harness and I can't stand it, it bobs up and down when you walk.
Definitely get one of these if you have somewhat heavy camera gear, I don't even notice the weight of my gear with this harness on. It would be nice if the webbing had some padding on it to make it even more comfortable, but it's certainly better than a regular strap.

I have two of them, one for me and the other for my wife. If you have heavy equipment and your on a long shoot this will save your neck and protect your equipment from swinging away from you as you bend over etc. I shoot often with my Canon 70-200mm L IS f/2.8 lens and it is not a light weight! This is the best strap setup I have ever owned and I have had many!

This harness moves the weight of the camera from the neck to the shoulders. It really does what the manufacturer claims it does. And because there is no way to make it easier to put on, I can live with that, rather than feeling I need a chiro after every photo shoot.
