I tried to use the Op/Tech Grip Strap to take the pressure off of my fingers while holding the camera. It worked in that respect, but was much too difficult to put on and remove. Alsom it isn't adjustable.
Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Grip Strap - Black:
This grip attaches at two seperate places on the camera, creating a fail-safe system.
Because it wraps around the back of the hand and wrist, it gives me peace-of-mind.
Some people have complained the neoprene rips, but if you gently pop the snaps, there shouldn't be any problems.
Not only can you stop using the neck strap, but it helps compensate for a heavy camera (mine weighs just over two pounds).
I am EXTREMELY happy with this product, so if you're tired of fooling with a strap, and letting your neck support the camera, try this out.

have been using it for couple of weeks and just love it. Attaches to large camera bodies (Nikon D3). Supports camera well. Does not hinder freedom of hand movement.

This is a nice item, however I will be sending mines back. It attaches fairly well to the camera and with it on, its certainly easier for me to hit the AE/AF lock button near the eyepiece on my Nikon D80. However, while I do find that it holds the camera to my hand batter, I dont find that it necessarily improves my stability while handholding any more than simply using good technique.
The screw that mounts the bottom plate to the tripod mount on the camera should have been one of those dual-mount screws with threads on the back of it so that it could then be mounted onto a tripod without having to take that bottom plate off. Not necessarily what I would call "quick release".

The only thing I wish it had is a nylon reinforced wrist strap. The wrist strap is made from some type of foamy rubber & feels as if over time it might tear. Overall the more I use it the more I like it. I have even completely removed the op\tech neck strap that was attached. This hand strap is comfortable enough to do a full days shoot with a 20D and 70-200 IS L 2.8 lens. You can let the camera "dangle" from your fingertips without any danger of it slipping out of your hand.

Quicker & easier to put on than using a strap around neck. Camera is always in hand with no risk of dropping it. Good product.
