Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Gotcha Wrist Strap - Black:
[...] The strap I received has a wide velcro strap, that is very scratchy, and uncomfortable. If this is what you want then I suppose it's fine but doesn't work for me. I've used Optech products for years and think they're a first rate company, just not crazy about this strap.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Gotcha Wrist Strap - Black:
This wrist strap is a great addition to my OP/tech classic neck strap. When I'm not carrying my camera around all day I reach for this instead. OP/tech quick connects allow me to instantly switch between my neck strap and wrist strap. Protects camera from the ground and is NEVER in the way like a neck strap when shooting. Extremely comfortable on wrist. Another great product made in the USA.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Gotcha Wrist Strap - Black:
I am a bit of a klutz so I got this to prevent my camera from smashing into the ground. Since I shoot at gigs/events, a neck strap is not flexible enough for the way I shoot. I've had my camera knocked from my hand at least a couple of times and the strap held up. Also, as the previous reviewer mentioned, if I really need to use both hands, I can let the camera hang down from my wrist.

Comments about Op/Tech Op/Tech Gotcha Wrist Strap - Black:
This wrist strap is almost perfect. It velcros securely and attaches to the camera with easy to use, yet strong, "plug in snap" (not sure how to describe it). I can snap it in easily and trust that if the body slips out of my hand, it will catch and not fall to the ground. Once in a great while, if I absolutely have to, I can let my body and heavy lens dangle from my wrist if I need to use both of my hands for something, and the wrist strap holds on well.
My only complaint is that my wrist sweats pretty bad with the wrist strap on, but it dries out quickly when off. It is also stretched out just a tad bit where the velcro catches, but it is still going strong after about 2 months of use. For the price, I could see replacing it a couple times a year.
