I have three of these and they are simply the best straps I have ever found. I carry SLR's with heavy lenses securely over one shoulder while hiking or walking without any slippage or having to lift my shoulder to keep my camera secure. Very comfortable and durable.

This strap is great for carrying a very heavy camera around your neck. It can easily support and spread the weight, across the shoulders of a Canon 1D with a 70-200 lens attached (about 8lbs).
You can carry the camera all day without even noticing the weight.

Replaced my Canon strap which was too long and stiff. My neck starts to feel uncomfortable with the Canon strap. I've heard of great reviews with this OpTech strap so decided to give it a try. Strap was very easy to install, length was just perfect, very comfortable and well padded. I highly recommend this strap to anybody.

Easily attached to my XTi and found that it was quite a bit more comfortable than the EOS stock strap.

I bought this strap to replace an aging OEM Canon strap. I was unhappy with the Canon because it was uncomfortable, mostly due to the rubberized section that goes behind your neck. If Canon had made the wide section out of the neoprene that the OpTech uses, it would have been perfect. The OpTech by comparison is super comfortable, and the wide section is nice and breathable. My gripe with this strap is that it's not long enough. Maybe I'm trying to run around all "Jimmy Page" with my camera down around my crotch, maybe I'm just too tall (6.0) but at maximum extension, the camera falls right onto my beer gut and its not the best look or feel for me. Additionally, the DigRebel XT remote that laces nicely onto the canon strap for easy access and transport doesn't fit onto the wider straps on the OpTech.Also, while I like the convenience of the detachable connectors, I wonder if they are really the best idea - I rarely wish I could remove the strap from my camera, and I sort of like the security of knowing that the strap is not coming off unless the fabric breaks.All in all, it's a strap - it holds the camera, the neck pad is comfortable[...]. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade from the OEM strap, with the caveats above.

Living in Houston, I was in desperate need of a strap that wouldn't cause strap burn on my neck during the hot sticky summers. I found exactly what I was looking for in this strap. It's lightweight, breathable, and very comfortable. The foam pad has small rubbery spots that help keep the strap in one place, even if you're sweaty, and it helps your neck breathe so it doesn't get too sweaty anyway.

It holds my Canon EOS 300D / Digital Rebel SLR like a pro. I have easily carried my camera on my neck for hours at a time while outside during the summer without complaint. I cant recommend this strap enough - its fantastic.
