I've used Op-Tech camera straps since 1986, and have yet to need to replace one. This is one of their best straps, well made and durable. No fancy stuff to fray and wear out prematurely. The connectors are nylon, the attachments are nylon loops. Secure, and no rust. I use this strap with a Nikon F2 with a motor drive and several D200s with the vertical grip. Heavy cameras. While it doesn't make the weight go away after a long day, the strap does evenly distribute the weight so you are not fatigued. If you carry your camera with the strap around your head and shoulder, order an extension set (Mfr. Part: 1301052 SKU: OTSCE) to make it longer. For under twenty bucks, you cannot beat this strap. Actually you can't beat it for under fifty!

Very comfortable strap that does add that extra bit of securing your camera and lens around your neck. My main lenses are a 70-200 or a 300mm, both good sized lens. I like the fact that there are buckles securing the camera vs. just through the buckle straps of the factory Canon straps. The back of the neck part of the stap is significantly more comfortable when carrying around a 7D and a 70-200 lens for a couple hrs.

I shoot a D-300 and mostly use telephoto lenses for bird photography. I am comfortable using this strap to carry the camera with a 70-200 and a tele extender. The strap has quick connects so that it is easily removed for work with a tripod.
I also like the fact that the adjustment buckles are sewed on so that there is no danger of their becomeing loose and dropping the camera.

I'm an amateur when it comes to camera gear and wanted something durable, better than my stock straps,easy to use and affordable. My KODAK Z1012 IS SLR has small strap loops and I was worried I wouldn't find a strap that would fit. Well, the Op/Tech was perfect! It took some care getting it looped, but what a difference! My wide angle lens didn't feel so heavy anymore after a few hours and was much more secure during walkabouts. The quick release clips were also a big plus! Job well done!

Great strap, very comfy and well constructed.
My only con would be that out of the gate it is a little short for my overall comford, I would like to see it a couple inches longer to allow for me to slide it under my arm and out of the way. I will most likely buy some additional straps to allow it to do this.

The strap is very comfortable and I really like the loop attachment method. However I like to carry my camera slung over my shoulder and around my neck and the strap does not adjust long enough for this. I guess I will continue my search for the perfect strap. I have tried the Domke Gripper and Black Rapid R-Strap and like them also but can't help but think there is something better. Probably my next and final attempt will be an UPStrap.

The soft (yet strong) material used at the ends where the strap connects to the camera is much more comfortable (to the hands) than other straps that have hard plastic/metal connectors and buckles there. The connections also allow the strap to hang better when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

Have to have at least one set of these attachments to carry other things not meant for a strap. It's easy to put on and easy to take off.

Great neck strap, shaped to lay comfortably against your neck. Snap fittings enable use of the company's system of straps and harnesses.
Be aware that in order to use this strap with the system, you must also order the #9 straps from the system. Then the camera goes from harness to strap to clip on back pack; using the snap connectors.

Works well for carrying unsupported camera. I use it with a fuji S5 w/18-200 lens - very comfortable. Works as a safety when I use my monopod.

I wanted to get a new strap after using the standard camera strap just once. The Optech was just simply more comfortable and on top of that, much more flexible in terms of length. I was able to make it so that I could wear this around my neck or just swing my arm through to a modified side mount. Would buy again and lets face it - in the world of DSLR, it's a very inexpensive upgrade that could enhance the photoshooting experience.

This is the strap I've been looking for. I feel secure knowing this strap on my camera body. I previously had a strap unwrap on me thankfully I was holding my camera in my hand. Otherwise I would have lost @[$] in camera equipment. This is the strap to own. I highly recommend the brand and the wide selection they offer.

Pro: The parts that attach to the camera are cloth, not metal rings that cause wear and brassing.
Con: The quick releases are not close to the camera body. No nice little carrying handle when clipped together.

This is the most comfortable camera strap I have ever used. I have used other neoprene straps in the past but this is the best. After I used this strap for a couple of weeks I ordered a second strap for my backup camera. Also the strap does fall away from the camera when in use. It's great!

I absolutely love this strap. I am currently using it with my Nikon D90 and couldn't be happier. It makes the camera seem lighter. After a day of roaming around, my neck didn't even realize I'd been carrying a camera. And for the price, how could you beat it? Great quality! It is a bit bouncier than the Nikon strap, but really it is not such a big deal...unless maybe you were running and shooting.....
As a traveler, my only con would be the lack of a cable running through the strap. That added security feature would make this strap absolutely perfect.

This makes it much more comfortable to carry the DSLR then the typical free strap that comes with the camera. It doesn't keep the camera from flipping around, however.

Excellent, comfortable, strap. The only drawback is the length of the straps that remain attached to the camera when the main strap is disconnected. They are a bit long.

I carry a very heavy Nikon D2X with a bulky 70-300 lens in the field to photograph wildlife. I can wear this for hours without any soreness or fatigue in my neck or shoulders. It is a very good product. The neoprene padding is soft and also absorbs the shock while I am bouncing over rough terrain. One other thing: It is constructed of material that will not scratch my camera, and it is very sturdy.

I purchased this strap to replace the branded one that came with my DSLR camera. It was stiff and uncomfortable and was difficult to adjust. The OpTech Pro Loop strap is easy to attach, adjust, and detaches quickly with a snap if needed. It is also comfortable and stays put without slipping or sliding. I would purchase this strap again!

Upgraded from my factory Canon strap and it's a WORLD of difference, even on my (relatively) small Rebel Xsi. I can't believe it took me 6 months to make this purchase. My camera feels about half the weight it did before. This should be accessory #1 when purchasing a DSLR.

The Op/Tech strap has me spoiled, never to go back to the manufacture strap.
Waring the manufacturer's camera strap had my shoulder complaining after a few hours of use. So started the search for one that had some give to it with out that hard rubber shoulder pad other's are using. An four hour shoot with the Op/Tech and my shoulder and neck are just as fresh as the first hour.
That's just what I was hoping for. So giving the Op/Tech Pro Loop Strap a BUY IT cuss chances are excellent you will like it.

This one of the most comfortable straps I have handled. It is very comfortable to wear around the neck for extended periods of time without chafing or fatigue. The strap comes in three separated pieces that easily connect together. When choosing not to use the neck pad portion, the other two connect together so that the camera can be tethered to your wrist for easy quick access to your camera for short periods of time. The strap design makes it possible to remove unnecessary bulk so you can concentrate on shooting and not on keeping the strap out of the way.

I wish it worked a bit better with the Op/Tech harness system - I would think with the quick disconnects they would be compatible.

This camera strap is very comfortable on hikes. It distributes weight very nicely. I haven't used a lot of different straps. I was very careful in my research before selecting a strap I felt confident would be suited to my needs. Since I haven't used a great number of straps I m reluctant to give this item 5 stars - there might be something out there that I would like better or that would better suit someone with different shooting habits and environments.

This strap would rank a five rating if the straps were about six inches longer on each side. Length okay, unless I carry it with one arm thru like a rifle sling..., then not long enough.

This is one great strap. I use it on my Canon 40D and the weight transfer is excellent - makes it feel much lighter than it is. The other strap I was using made the camera feel heavier and I was constantly adjusting it up around my neck. I like the loop system too ... it's much easier to connect to the camera. I would highly recommend getting one of these straps ... your neck will thank you!!!
