Very well thought design, perfect for my D3100 with 2 additional lenses and 13.3" Laptop.
The only downside is the size of tripod pocket, it should have been little bigger and probably of better quality. I really doubt the durability of tripod pocket if used frequently.
Also there could have been a similar pocket on the other side for water bottle.
Apart from the above 2 concerns this is a perfect bag.

I bought this backpack because it easily holds my laptop and my DSLR and lenses. It also has room for personal items so I don't need to bring my purse. Everything I need fits in this pack. It has plenty of extra pockets so I can organize most everything. Since it is winter, I also keep a hat and gloves in the pack. The camera area pulls out, so it is easy to get to my camera and lenses, although I have to take the pack off completely to get to anything.
I don't like the waist belt. It is totally useless. KATA should replace it with a real waist belt to help distribute the load better. Because with a camera, 3 lenses, and a laptop the pack is heavy.

Bought this bag because I was taking a trip to visit a friend in Lake Tahoe. I needed a backpack bag that would be able to hold my laptop and all my camera gear. My everyday bag is a Lowepro Slingshot 200. This bad was nice that i could fit all my camera equipment, laptop and all my other carry on material onto the plane. While in Tahoe it was comfortable to walk around on hikes w/ minimal or no discomfort. My biggest problem w/ the bag is that there is no where to put a 80-200 f/2.8 lens. The lower compartments for the camera and lenses is very compact. It is adequate for 17-50mm f/2.8 and comparable equipment, but nothing bigger. I had to put the 80-200 in the top part of the bag and run the risk of it moving around.
This bad did all that i needed it to. I needed a bag to fit my equipment and a 13' macbook. I needed to be able to attach a tripod to it. It had to be comfortable for long hikes. Equipment had to be accessible when needed. It did all these things, maybe not all as well as i demanded.

This backpack has plenty of space for a DSLR with battery grip and 2-3 lens. The laptop storage holds a netbook with ease.
Great for day trips.

I found this to be quite roomy for what I need. I like the fact that I can bring along my laptop as well as carry my tripod all in one bag.It makes a handy carry-on on the airplane.
