Use this and the other Canon lens bags to keep prime and zoom lenses in like-new condition, along with their lens caps and lens hoods attached in reverse. The Canon L-series lenses come with the same bags, but one should buy them for the lenses that one uses all the time, whether they are L-series or not.

This should have been included with the Canon 100mm macro lens as it is with the L series lenses. Consequently, Canon gets a star removed for the extra cost, otherwise this is a fine product. Moderately expensive lenses deserve some extra protection against friction with other equipment (camera, lens, etc.) in the storage bag that can cause scratching of plastic bodies.
